Founded in February 2024 by Stephen Slater, our company is committed to delivering exceptional service and unmatched expertise in every aspect of pool and spa care. Stephen’s journey began at the age of 16, when he started building above-ground pools in Central Illinois. By the age of 18, Stephen began working for Etcheson Spa & Pool and had the honor of working under the late Jon Etcheson. Jon was not only a mentor but also a source of inspiration, instilling in Stephen the values of excellence, passion, building lasting relationships with customers and priortizing their satisfaction; values that guide our service today.

Stephen is very knowledgeable about all things pool related. He does the necessary work and saves me money by avoiding unnecessary—for example, checked the sand in the filter and found it could last another year or two, so no need to change it out this year and therefore saved money. He is also good about teaching me how to do some backs maintenance and cleaning so I can save even more money!

We purchased a house in 2024 with a pool & as first time pool owners, we had questions on the pool maintenance. After 3 other companies came out, I contacted Stephen for a quote on a new heater for our pool. He answered all my questions, explained what was going on with our pool, and came and installed our new pool heater. I'm so glad to finally have someone who took the time to explain to me what was happening and why it was happening so I wasn't wasting money with chemicals or equipment that was more expensive & outsized for our pool.
